2014 Graduate

Christopher Vernon

Upon graduating from the National Institute of Dramatic Art (music theatre) in 2010, where he received the Robertson Family Trust Scholarship, Christopher toured Australia with Brainstorm Productions performing in “Verbal Combat” and “The Magic Words”. His previous theatre credits include Jimmy in “Thoroughly Modern Millie”, Zeke Baylor in “High School Musical”, Zack in “Lesbian Vampires of Sodom” (NIDA directors plays, choreographed by John “O’Connell”) and Gregor Samsa in “Metamorphosis”.

During his time at The Actor’s Centre Australia, Christopher has had the opportunity to play an range of characters including: Demetrius in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, Luke Boyce in “Boyce Trilogy”, Shabelsky in “Ivanov”, “Stories from the INside Out”, Verbatim Theatre directed by Dean Carey, John in “Oleanna” and most recently Larry in “Closer”(NIDA).
TVC credits include: Channel V, Mcdonalds and Arnotts.

Christopher is looking forward to building his career as a working artist and he wants to thank his family for their constant love and support.
