Heath Anderson

Heath grew up taking part in drama classes and performing in musical and theatre-based productions from ages 8 -18 at Young People’s Theatre in his home town, Newcastle. It was there he also attended the Hunter School of Performing Arts where he studied dramatic arts and music in depth and detail for the basis of his high school education. During his time training at Actors Centre Australia Heath has engaged with multiple roles in numerous performances including ‘Old Man’ in Fool For Love (dir. Samuel Allen), ‘1’ in Pool, No Water (dir. Maeliosa Stafford), ‘Ned’ in The Normal Heart (dir. Gale Edwards), ‘Duke Senior/Duke Frederick/Sir Oliver Martext’ in As You Like It (dir. Jennifer West), ‘Jack’ in DogFall (dir. Troy Trilsbach-Harrison), ‘Vince’ in Escape [short] (dir. Blake Gamble, JMC) Prior: ‘Pirate Heath’ in Pirate Ted (dir. Stacey Tierney, Children’s Entertainment, 2015) [required singing/dancing/acting], ‘Banquo’ in Macbeth (dir. Rod Ansell, Young People’s Theatre, 2015), and ‘Horton the Elephant’ in Seussical the Musical (dir. Katy Booth & Emily Taylor, Young People’s Theatre).
