Rebecca was born in England and grew up on the coast in Wollongong. She discovered her love of acting during her final years of high school, inspired by her wonderful Drama teacher. After graduating, Rebecca travelled to places such as South East Asia and Europe to experience other cultures and practice her photography. When Rebecca returned home from her trip she had the pleasure of playing the lead role in the feature film “Ambrosia” by Rhiannon Bannenberg, scheduled to be released later this year.
Some of the highlights in Rebecca’s time at ACA include; discovering her love for movement with Sam Chester, creating and devising work with Anthony Skuse in Performance History, playing her beautiful grandmother in the verbatim show; “Stories from the Heartland” directed by Dean Carey and playing Jo from Edward Albee’s “The Lady from Dubuque” directed by Kevin Jackson. Rebecca’s time at ACA has encouraged her passion for creating her own work, especially using different creative mediums; such as physical theatre. Rebecca one day hopes to create her own theatre company and continue to pursue her newfound love of singing. ACA has taught her the significance of an ensemble and sharing relevant and important stories with a variety of audiences.
