2015 Graduate

Kiki Skountzos

Fed as a child on a steady stream of Bette Midler, Goldie Hawn and Barbra Streisand movies, gregarious Canberra-born Kiki Skountzos brings a spark to every performance. At the Actors Centre Australia (ACA) Sydney, Kiki’s roles have included Lucinda in The Lady from Dubuque (dir. Kevin Jackson, 2015), Lady Anne in Richard III (dir. Jenny West and George Ogilvie, 2014), Avdotya in Ivanov (dir. Cristobel Sved, 2014), and was most recently seen as Yvonne in Nicki Bloom’s Tender (dir. Charles Saunders, 2015).

Kiki graduated from the Australian National University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Art History, securing a comfortable graduate position in the public service while moonlighting as an actor. Eventually she realised that her penchant for the dramatic was best suited as her full-time pursuit and went on to complete an Advanced Diploma of Performing Arts (Acting) at ACA. Directors, actors and audiences have been delighted by Kiki’s energy and creativity. Her passion for film and theatre and its transformative power is truly infectious.
