Abhilash Kaimal

Abhilash is an energetic and driven actor. First starting to perform in high school where he performed in productions of Oedipus Rex and Romeo and Juliet. His time at ACA has honed his craft and instilled within him a deeply committed work ethic. His performances and roles at ACA include Arthur Phillip in Our Country’s Good (dir. Adam Cook), Agamemnon in The Oresteia (dir. Gale Edwards), King Ferdinand in Love’s Labour’s Lost (dir. Jennifer West), Tommy in The Dreamer Examines His Pillow (dir. Troy Harrison), Johnny in Frankie & Jonny in the Clair de Lune (dir. Anthony Gooley), Elyot in Private Lives (dir. Justice Jones) and Jack in The Importance of Being Earnest (dir. Maeliosa Stafford).

Outside of school, he has written scripts for television, film and stage. He has also worked on productions with AFTRS students and a short film Inconvenience Store (dir. Danny Coolahan). Abhilash is very excited to enter the industry and make his mark.
