From Sydney, Emma had her first acting experience at age six in after school care, when she featured in an iconic ABC ad, tracing the logo with her finger. It never aired, however from there she began exploring her love for performing in dance, piano and drama classes. As an HSC drama student, Emma’s self-written monologue “The Traffic Controller” was nominated for OnStage. After a year at Sydney University majoring in German, Emma moved to Bathurst to complete a degree in Theatre/Media where she devised and performed several productions over the three years.
In 2012, Emma turned her focus back to acting, beginning the full-time program at the Actor’s Centre Australia. Her time at the ACA has been epic, with highlights including “The Cherry Orchard” directed by Anthony Skuse, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” with Jennifer West and George Ogilvie, “August Osage County” and “4000 Miles” directed by Adam Cook.
