Kat White

Kat is originally from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland and found herself working as a hairdresser/makeup artist and also did photographic modelling on the side which lead her to build a professional modelling portfolio along with tear sheets from cosmetic companies, bridal wear and fashion editorials. During her apprenticeship, Kat attended weekly acting classes in Brisbane with acting coach Gareth Harris and found herself wanting to pursue acting on a deeper level. At the end of her apprenticeship, Kat went back to TAFE to complete her year 12 equivalent in order to attend drama school and work towards a career in the arts.

Kat performed in the one act play festival held at the Noosa Arts Theatre in Queensland and played the role of Megan in an original play called The Big Lap. Since being at ACA Kat has tackled a variety of roles such as Veronica in The Motherf*cker with the Hat (dir. Troy Harrison), Frankie in Frankie and Johnny in the Clair De Lune (dir. Anthony Gooly), Cassandra in The Oresteia (dir. Gale Edwards), Maria in Twelfth Night (dir. Adam Cook), Sara Kane’s 4:48 Psychosis (dir. Zac Bush) and Cherry in Cosi (dir. Troy Harrison).
