2014 Graduate

Patrick Cullen

Patrick was born and raised in Perth. His mother, ever the creative type had him in clowning classes by the age of four, so really he was on a performance path before he knew it! Growing up in Perth was mind numbingly dull, so Patrick sought escape from the mundane in theatre. While studying Theatre and Journalism at Curtin University, he attended and open casting call for “Wasted on the Young” and after an extensive call back process he found himself with a major role on the set of a feature film.

From there the dye was cast, Sydney or bust and Patrick quickly realised to be a professional actor he needed to increase his skill base and refine his technique. The Actor’s Centre Australia was the perfect fit, from playing Julius Caesar directed by George Ogalvie through to Bernie in “Sexual Perversity in Chicago” directed by Adam Cook, Patrick has absolutely adored being at the ACA and cannot wait to hit the ground running!
