Emily McKnight

Emily discovered her love of acting at a very young age. Upon finishing high school, Emily studied a Bachelor’s degree at Macquarie University, majoring in Creative Arts and English. During this time she regularly performed in amateur student and community theatre productions, completed the part time acting course at NIDA and performed with the National Youth Theatre Company at Carriageworks. Emily has performed in an array of roles during her training at ACA. These include Phoebe in Shakespeare’s “As You Like It” directed by Jennifer West and George Oglivie, Sasha in Chekov’s “Ivanov” directed by Cristabel Sved and Heidi in “The Heidi Chronicles” directed by Kevin Jackson. Emily is also an avid musician and has played the flute and taught music for many years.
