Huxley Forras

Huxley is an Australian actor whose journey into performance began in the family backyard, where impersonations and playful skits first sparked his love for comedy and storytelling. Raised across towns and cities throughout Australia in a family deeply rooted in the hospitality industry, he developed a natural sense of humour, warmth, and connection — qualities that now infuse his work on both screen and stage.

His creative path has been one of collaboration and discovery, evolving from school plays and community theatre to virtual reading groups during lockdown — experiences that ultimately inspired him to pursue a Bachelor of Screen and Stage at the Actors Centre Australia (ACA).

Huxley’s stage credits include Larry in Closer (2020), Doc Porter in Crimes of the Heart and Mr. Darcy in Pride and Prejudice for GCLTC — a performance that earned him a Gold Palm Award nomination for Best Actor (2021). While training at ACA, he showcased his versatility through roles such as Mack in Don’s Party, Matvei Shabelsky in Ivanov, Dr. Gibbs in Our Town, Lennox in Macbeth, Peter in The Zoo Story, and Joe Keller in All My Sons.

On screen, Huxley continues to expand his range across both professional and independent productions. He most recently appeared in Sunbury (2024) and previously guest-starred as Jaime Hyatt on Neighbours. Huxley brings both playfulness and depth to every performance.

Based in Sydney, Huxley remains closely connected to family across Australia and is available for projects in Melbourne, Perth, and South-East Queensland. Beyond acting, he is passionate about purposeful storytelling and community impact, having volunteered with IVHQ on creative and construction projects in Rome, Italy, and Tanzania, Africa, supporting organic farming and safe housing initiatives.
