VIDEO: Welcome Day at Western Sydney University

“I couldn’t imagine doing anything else, doing it anywhere else.”

Meet the first students stepping into Actors Centre Australia’s new Bachelor of Performing Arts (Acting), in partnership with Western Sydney University.

This flagship degree, born from a powerhouse partnership blending ACA’s industry-led training with Western’s academic excellence, honours the rich legacy of Theatre Nepean and empowers the next generation of actors, directors, creators, and storytellers.

For these students, it’s more than a degree. It’s where they’ll discover their voice, refine their artistry, and forge their creative identity.

Featured students:  Hamish Bamford, Allie Littman, Niamh McKervey, Grezzu Vella, and Julia Wilkins

Interviews with: Distinguished Professor Anthony Uhlmann (Program Lead for Drama, School of Arts at Western Sydney) and Adam Cook (Head of Acting, Actors Centre Australia)
