Jack Starkey-Gill

Jack Starkey-Gill is a Sydney-based voice, acting and presentation coach. Achieving a Bachelor of Dramatic Art at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) in 2010, Jack comes from an acting background, and has worked across multiple mediums professionally, spanning the Bell Shakespeare stage to the Neighbours set. He is a 2021 graduate of the Master of Fine Arts (Voice) from the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) and currently teaches at Actors Centre Australia (ACA), NIDA and Sydney Actors School (SAS). Jack is also Voice & Text Coach at Bell Shakespeare, Dialect Coach on the Mary Poppins musical, and was the 2022 Voice & Presentation Coach for SBS Radio. His classes focus on embodiment and playfulness, and he is instinctively drawn to a teaching style that employs generosity, humour, physicality and text-focus.
