Shane Russon

Shane is originally from Tasmania, beginning his acting experience in the local theatre scene. While there he worked on a range of plays, musicals and operas. Shane moved to Sydney in 2013 to study at ACA. While there, his performing highlights included playing Andrei in “Three Sisters” directed by Stefanos Rassios and the role of Hamlet in “What a Piece of Work is a Man” directed by Jennifer West and George Ogilvie. Other highlights include his devised and movement work with Sam Chester and Anthony Skuse, the verbatim project directed by Dean Carey and the vocal training by Jennifer West and Linda Nicholls-Gidley. He leaves his training platform with a drive to perform, to create work and contribute to the Australian industry. He has a love for all forms of acting, and strives to extend and grow in the years to come.
