2020 Graduate

Aidan Du Chiem

Aidan was born in Australia and grew up in Singapore. He is an alumnus of the School of the Arts in Singapore, and to solidify his studies in the performing arts, he moved back to Sydney to join Actors Centre Australia, pursuing his Bachelor of Performing Arts (Stage & Screen).

At ACA, Aidan has performed in productions such as Timberlake Wertenbaker’s Our Country’s Good as Captain Watkin Tench and Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night as Orsino (dir. Adam Cook). He has also appeared in productions such as Strindberg’s Creditors playing Tekla (dir. Sam Trotman), Aphra Behn’s The Rover playing both Blunt and Antonio (dir. Claudia Barrie), Bob in American Buffalo (dir. Troy Harrison) and Kenneth Lonergan’s This is Our Youth as Warren (dir. Frankie Savige). In addition, he has also worked on his cohort’s radio play production of The Importance of Being Earnest playing Algernon. (dir. Maeliosa Stanford).

Aidan is ready to show to the industry what he has to offer.
