Annabelle was born in Sydney on Gadigal land to British parents, to whom she announced, at age four, her intention to become an actor and a singer. She had already chosen a stage name (which shall remain a family secret). Sydney Children’s Choir, ATYP and NIDA courses and various short films culminated in her acceptance into Newtown High School of the Performing Arts, thus solidifying her love for theatre and performance. Taking advantage of her dual citizenship, she moved to London and travelled to the 2014 Edinburgh Fringe Festival with Pleasance Theatre Company to perform My Way, and in the show’s second run in London later that year. She performed in Short and Sweet Festival 2021 as Minnie in Sweethearts (dir. Olga Tamara). Annabelle is member of a NFP Sydney based arts and music collective YMO Projects.
In 2020, she made her directorial debut with a production of Savages by Patricia Cornelius.
Her roles at ACA have included Arkadina The Seagull (dir. Camilla Ah Kin & Troy Harrison), Queen Margaret – Richard III (dir. Adam Cook), Nola, The Season at Sarsparilla (dir. Adam Cook), Carol – Road (dir. John O’Hare), Boniface,The Beaux Stratagem (dir. Claudia Barrie), Victoria,The Motherf*cker with the Hat (dir. Troy Harrison). Annabelle has always loved playing pretend and is very much looking forward to doing it forever.
