Greta Goodworth

Born in Cologne, Germany with a German Mum and Aussie Dad, Greta grew up with a love for language. Her interest in the spoken word led her to start youth theatre at the age of seven, where she was in a musical version of Romeo and Juliet (dir. Tomke Andresen & Julianna Andone), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (dir. Tomke Andresen & Julianna Andone), Labyrinth (Tomke Andresen & Julianna Andone) and Neues Stück (dir. Martina Pfaff ). After four years of various performing arts projects on stage, Greta started working in television where she guested in Alarm für Cobra 11 (dir. Axel Sand) and Phoenixsee (dir. Bettina Woernle) and was part of the permanent cast of Lindenstraße from 2012-2018.

After graduating from high school, Greta took 9 months to focus on refining her singing and dancing skills before moving to Sydney, Australia in order to pursue her career on a global scale. In her time at ACA she has explored a variety of characters of different ages and temperaments. Such as Dulcie in Summer of the Aliens (dir. Troy Harrison), Third Maggie in The Mill on the Floss (dir. Maeliosa Stafford), Dunyasha in The Cherry Orchard (dir. Adam Cook), Lady Anne in Richard III (dir. Adam Cook), Ivy in August: Osage County (dir. Troy Harrison), and Dorinda in The Beaux Stratagem (dir. Claudia Barrie).

At ACA Greta has not only been able to develop as an actor but has discovered a passion for creating and directing visual art, such as installations and immersive theatre.
