LARISSA TURTON

Growing up in Sydney, Larissa took every opportunity to immerse herself in the arts, playing clarinet in the NSW Arts Unit and training in classical ballet, before discovering her love of acting. After graduating high school, Larissa was involved in several short films and indie theatre productions, including Coming Out on Broadway at Sydney Fringe 2019 and Keating! The Musical at the Factory Theatre.

In 2018 Larissa became connected with Istanbul-based theatre company Cloud Educational Theatre, with whom she completed four international tours of Türkiye from 2018-2020, playing the roles of Alice in Alice in Wonderland (dir. by Maria Amasyali) and Irene Adler in Sherlock Holmes (dir. by Merve Zini).

In her time at ACA Larissa has played the roles of Viola in Twelfth Night, Elizabeth Barry in The Libertine, Electra in Electra, Masha in The Seagull, Juror #5 in Twelve Angry Men and Jenny in The Business.

Larissa is beyond excited to be entering the industry and is delighted to be touring with Bell Shakespeare’s learning ensemble, The Players in 2024.
