MEGAN HEFEREN

Growing up in Townsville, North Queensland, Megan was lucky enough to get to work with Theatre iNQ’s for two years as a part of their training program, The Bridge Project. There, she had the pleasure of being part of their productions including DNA, Blood of The Kings and Much Ado About Nothing (dir. Terri Brabon).

During her time at ACA, Megan has played Malvolio in Twelfth Night, Eurydice and Chorus in Antigone, Thea Elvsted in Hedda Gabler, Sandra in The Boys, The Chorus in Electra, Juror 12 in 12 Angry Men and Barbara in A Conversation. She also co-directed and produced The Partygoers, written by fellow ACA graduate John Tsakiris. Megan also had the opportunity to work as a technician for several shows both in and out of ACA including The Laramie Project, Stacks on Productions Orphans (dir. Terri Brabon), GlitterPunch (dir. Brittany Santariga), For the Time Being (dir. Lachlan Stevenson) and more.

Megan is a tenacious and ambitious creative who is eager to continue making her own work and creating a place for herself in the industry.
