Kirra Jones’s journey as an actor began at a very young age. Her creative passion was first ignited through dance, although she has explored many styles of performance throughout her life.
Her love of performance was cultivated in high school. There she began her creative journey in community theatre which would eventually lead her to ACA. Kirra’s roles at ACA have included Meg in Away, Phoebe in As You Like It, Christina in Dancing at Lughnasa, Hermia/Snug in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Salome in Simmer, Catherine in A View from the Bridge, and Maureen in Stags and Hens (The Remix). During her time at ACA, Kirra has widened her horizons, growing her love for Shakespeare, physical theatre and clowning. She hopes to explore this kind of work in the future. Kirra’s ambition is to perform and create on both the stage and the screen. She believes in the importance of telling stories.
Kirra is a keen and hardworking actor that is excited to take the next step in her career. She is thrilled to reprise her role as Maureen in Stags and Hens (The Remix) in early January 2025 at the New Theatre.
