Anna Phillips is an actress originally from Ballarat, Victoria. She first found her love for performing arts whilst training as a dancer from a very young age. Anna was lucky enough to be selected to work with both the Block Theatre Company in 2006 and the Lyric Theatre Company in 2007 on amateur theatre productions. Although a passionate arts student at Melbourne University, Anna’s desire to work as a professional artist fuelled her persistence to find opportunities wherever she could.
Her successful audition for ACA in 2011 took her to Sydney where she then began her formal training. One of Anna’s highlights was working with Dean Carey on the verbatim theatre project, Stories From the West Side, as well being given the opportunity to work with and learn from industry professionals such as Rodney Fisher and George Ogilvie. Once graduated, Anna is excited to continue exploring and developing her love and skills for a craft that she holds close to her heart.
