2021 Graduate

Mollie Webb

Born in Sydney, Mollie has had a passion for storytelling from a very young age, encouraging her older brother to star alongside her at age 8 in her debut self-directed and written short film Black and Gold, shot on the family video camera. Throughout her teenage years, Mollie spent her free time following her undeniable curiosity for acting, training at varied performing art schools, and undertaking short courses at ATYP and NIDA. Mollie was ecstatic to accept a place at Actors Centre Australia’s Bachelor Degree program at age 18.

Throughout her training, Mollie has had the privilege of being taught by Jennifer West, Anthony Skuse, Julia Cotton, Genevieve Hegney, Pip Edwards, Troy Harrison, Jonathan Mill and Adam Cook, their enthusiasm for the craft shaping Mollie’s own honing of the craft, instilling in her a deeply committed work ethic.

During her time at ACA, Mollie has had the absolute joy in exploring her range, with her roles including Nina in The Seagull (dir. Troy Harrison), Sylvia in The Recruiting Officer (dir. by Shaun Rennie and Richard Carroll), Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (dir. by Jonathan Mill), Alice in Closer (dir. by Troy Harrison), Louise in Road (dir. by John O’Hare), and Judy in The Season at Sarsaparilla (dir. by Adam Cook).

Mollie is eager to enter the industry, continuing to follow her passionate love for telling people’s stories.
