Katie grew up in Newcastle, where she developed a love of acting and drama. What began with a kindergarten play of Baa Baa Black Sheep grew into a lifelong passion for performance. During her time in Newcastle, Katie was involved in multiple local and representative theatre groups, as well as spending a gap year tutoring other aspiring young actors.
After joining Actors Centre Australia and moving to Sydney in 2022, Katie has had the privilege of performing several roles, including Naomi Bartlet in Secret Bridesmaids’ Business, Zinaida Lebedev in Ivanov, Horatio in Hamlet, multiple roles in Saved, Top Girls and States of Decay, as well as Harper in Angels in America. While at ACA, Katie has also developed and honed her skills in accents, improvisation, and storytelling.
Moving forward, Katie is excited to continue developing her acting skills within the industry, collaborating with likeminded individuals and exploring a newfound enjoyment of screenwriting and filmmaking. She is especially looking forward to further pursuing her love and passion for both screen and theatre acting.
