2025 Graduate

Lily MacNevin

Lily MacNevin is a bubbly and energetic performer whose love for acting and storytelling began as soon as she was able to think. Throughout her childhood, she would often bring dinner parties to a halt by jumping on the table and sharing her rendition of Not Fair by Lily Allen (not exactly what you want your six-year-old listening to).

Lily was pushed straight into drama classes in kindergarten and never stopped training. She attended Newtown High School of the Performing Arts through the drama stream and continued to hone her craft while also enhancing her skills in other areas, such as singing, movement, and production. Here, Lily also discovered her intense love of musical theatre and had the honour of playing Sharpay Evans in High School Musical 2. Other notable roles she portrayed at NHSPA include Meg in Away, Sophie in The Chrysalids, and Ms Haversham in Great Expectations, to name a few.

While studying at ACA, Lily has had the pleasure of playing a variety of roles including Nina Zarechnaya in The Seagull, Beth in A Lie of the Mind, Lucy in Secret Bridesmaids’ Business, Lydia in All My Sons, Anna in The Almighty Sometimes, Juliet in Romeo & Juliet, Eva in States of Decay, various roles in Macbeth including The Second Witch, and Isabella Bird in Top Girls.

Lily’s time at ACA has allowed her to stretch and grow not only as a performer but also as a person. Lily is excited to enter the industry as a passionate, intuitive, hard working and flexible performer.

Having successfully pitched to New Theatre to remount ACA’s production of A Lie of the Mind in January 2026, Lily is thrilled to reprise the role of Beth alongside her fellow graduates.
