Hailing from Argentina, Lisandro Garcia moved to Townsville at the age of 14 where he was fortunate enough to be accepted into TheatreiNQ’s The Bridge Project where he worked alongside the professional theatre company for four years. Here grew his passion for Shakespeare and learnt valuable behind-the-scenes skills like sewing, painting and set building. He had the privilege of playing Adam in DNA, Ensemble in Othello, Pistol and Green in Blood of Kings, Don John in Much Ado About Nothing, White King and Red King in Alice Through the Looking Glass, Henry VI in The White Rose and The Red, Prince Edward in Blood will Have Blood, Ensemble in The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui and Ferdinad in The Tempest.

During his time at ACA he played Mal in Don’s Party, Dorn in The Seagull, Macbeth in Macbeth and Baylor in A Lie of the Mind. He was heavily involved in the design and building of the set for his graduation play at ACA, All My Sons, in which he also played George. After all these years if training Lisandro is excited to step into the industry and keep working professionally.

Having successfully pitched to New Theatre to remount ACA’s production of A Lie of the Mind in January 2026, Lisandro is thrilled to reprise the role of Baylor alongside his fellow graduates.
