Born in Serowe, Botswana to Ugandan parents, Norah Masige quickly developed a passion for film. When she was a tween, her family moved to the small Australian town of Gunnedah, NSW and her days were spent daydreaming of a life in a big city.
Norah decided that if she wanted to act, she would need to create the type of stories she wanted to act in. This led her to study a degree in TV Production and a Master’s in Writing before finding her way back to acting.
During her time at Actors Centre Australia, Norah has had the pleasure of performing several roles including Pearl in Summer of the Seventeenth Doll, Arkadina in The Seagull, Hecuba in States of Decay, Kate Keller in All My Sons, King Duncan/the Porter/Siward in Macbeth and Mr Lies/Belize in Angels in America.
Now she is ready for her next acting challenge, whether it be on stage or screen.
