NAOMI LEES

Naomi knew from a very young age that she wanted to perform. She got her start as a child in advertisements, and soondiscovered her passion for the stage through community theatre. Growing up in the Inner West of Sydney, there were many outlets for her creativity, but her first love has always been film and tv. Naomi is a queer actor, keen to carve out her place in the industry.

Prior to ACA, Naomi competed her Advanced Diploma at the Academy of Film, Theatre and Television. While there she had the privilege of portraying Annie in Love (dir. Sean O’Riordan), Miranda in The Tempest (dir. Sean O’Riordan), and Agatha in The Street of Crocodiles (dir. Anthony Skuse). She also worked with Secret House on their production of Joseph K (dir. Sean O’Riordan) in 2019, performing various roles at Limelight on Oxford Street.

During her time at ACA, her roles have included Hermia in A Midsummer’s Night’s Dream (dir. Claudia Barrie), Julianna in The Other Place (dir. Kim Hardwick), Decius Brutus in Julius Caesar (dir. Robert Jago), Jennifer in The Treatment (dir. Estelle Halabi), Williams in Henry V (dir. Robert Jago), Lizaveta in A Month in the Country (dir. Maeliosa Stafford), Fabienne in Ali (dir. Pratha Nagpal). Rowena in A Moment on the Lips (dir. Claudia Barrie), and various roles in Love and Information (dir. Alexander Berlage).
