Courtney Bell

Courtney brings her vibrant, intuitive and wholehearted energy to every performance. With an unquenchable passion, she is excited about furthering her career in acting, singing, dancing and directing on stage and screen. Courtney made her professional debut in the Gordon Frost Organisation’s The Sound Of Music (Gretl), going on to appear in the company’s Annie (Molly – dir. Nancye Hayes) and The Wizard Of Oz. Prior to full-time training, other credits included High School Musical 2 (Sharpay – dir. Anthony Crowley) and Oh, The Humanity And OtherExclamations (Spokeswoman/Woman – dir. Jason Klarwein).

At ACA, Courtney has had the humbling pleasure of working with many industry professionals and the opportunity to explore a variety of roles, including Suddenly Last Summer (Catherine – dir. Gale Edwards), Buried Child (Shelly – dir. Gale Edwards), Private Lives (Sibyl – NIDA Directors Project), As You Like It (Phoebe – dir. Adam Cook), The Winter’s Tale (Camillo – dir. Adam Cook),

Mind The Gap (verbatim theatre project – dir. Dean Carey), Three Sisters (Natasha – dir. Anthony Skuse), In Times Of War & Gold (dir. Jennifer West and Samantha Chester), Cartography (dir. Anthony Skuse and Samantha Chester), and Speaking In Tongues (Sonya – dir. Andrew Lloyde and Jamie Irvine). Courtney is grateful for her wonderful journey at ACA, and looks forward to continuing her pursuits upon graduation.
