2013 Graduate

Samuel Trotman

Sam was born in Armidale and grew up in regional NSW. His first acting roles saw him cast by his older sister as an astronaut, war hero, and bank robber in their backyard (to critical and parental acclaim). In 2010 he was drawn to the city and began performing, studying and directing theatre and film at UNSW.

In 2011 Sam made the leap and decided to pursue acting by auditioning for ACA. His time at ACA has been one of artistic, professional and personal growth. Particular highlights have been stretching his theatre making muscles, under the guidance of Anthony Skuse, in Performance History and being nurtured and challenged by all the amazing tutors he has had the privilege of working with. Sam is looking forward to building himself a career as a working artist and actor in film, television and theatre.
