2014 Graduate

Eliza Kate Reilly

Eliza grew up in the rural Yarramalong Valley where isolation and unlimited permission to set things on fire fueled Eliza’s course into the dramatic arts. Before Eliza’s formal acting training she studied a double major in arts and fine arts at COFA, UNSW and media and production at UTS.

In tandem with acting, Eliza has been a radio presenter and broadcaster for over six years on FBi 94.5; hosting with her sister Hannah. Her comedy writing has been featured on Radio National and the ABC and she is also writing and starring in a six part series currently in development with Giant Dwarf Productions “The Chasers War, The Checkout”. Eliza’s on screen highlight was featuring in the 2013 Tropfest film “Great Day directed by Hannah May Reilly. As well as starring in the short “The Hatinator” currently touring in Flickerfest.

Eliza considers every moment of her training at Actor’s Centre Australia delicious. Her highlights include playing Atreus in the Simon Stone adaption of “Thyestes” as a part of the NIDA Directors project, also playing Stevie from “The Goat”, or “Who Is Sylvia” under the direction of Adam Cook during American’s performance.
