2014 Graduate

Samantha Ward

Samantha Ward grew up in South-East Queensland where she spent her high school years performing in, writing and directing plays and musicals. After leaving school she worked as a visual stylist and designer where she learnt invaluable skills that she takes into her theatre making practices today.

In 2011, Samantha moved to Sydney and studied Screen Acting and Audition part-time courses at the Actor’s Centre Australia, before being accepted into the full time course at the end of that year. Some of her favourite experiences from the course include studying mask, movement, screen acting, and playing the roles of Calpurnia in “Julius Caesar” directed by George Ogilvie, Pat in “Stories from the INside Out” directed by Dean Carey, and Jessie in “’Night, Mother” directed by Adam Cook.

Samantha would love to see a future that is filled with great theatre, film & TV experiences, and she plans to start a theatre company with her fellow artists.
