GEORGIA NICHOLAS

Born in Sydney, Georgia considers this city her playground. Watching Winslet in Titanic as a child she declared to herself “one day, I’m going to do that” and has never looked back. After high school, she landed the lead role in the independent feature Love and Love Only. She has been cast in a guest role on Home & Away, and more recently in a TVC and multiple short films.

Georgia’s zest for adventure has led her overseas to off-the-beaten-track destinations (the top of her list are Cuba and Nepal). These experiences broadened her awareness of how one’s environment so shapes their beliefs and choices.

While at ACA, Georgia played the roles of Arkadina in The Seagull, Maria in Twelfth Night, Pia [Sentry/Messenger] & Chorus in Antigone, Foreman in Twelve Angry Men, Anna in The Business, Mrs. Walkham in Toy Symphony, and Jo Mulligan in Wherever She Wanders.

Georgia’s goal is to portray women who are fractured yet fighting, that speak to the experiences of women around the globe and empower them to keep telling their stories.
