Name: Jayden Castle
From: Ashfield, Sydney.
Graduating class of 2022

What made you apply to ACA?
ACA’ standard of excellence and their culture of personal care in dramatic training.

What’s the best part of your week at ACA?
Getting to perform and practice the craft with a dedicated and incredible cohort.

What’s your Fav show at ACA (that you’ve performed in)?
Definitely Consent by Nina Raine, such a nuanced and excellent show, and one that was and is pretty topical these days.

Fav show at ACA that you’ve seen?
Love and Information from my cohort last year, it was tight, clever, and the growth I saw from everyone involved was just awesome.

What advice would you give to someone auditioning for ACA?
Breathe, trust the process, and most importantly, whether you get in or not, you’re on the right track, keep striving.

What type of career do you hope to build post-graduation?
One that is emotionally available, I am open to so many types of storytelling, and I aim to explore as many as I can.

What actor inspires you?
Daniel Radcliffe, I love his commitment to branching out and exploring every avenue that he can since his cultural identity of Harry Potter.

What are you currently rehearsing and what role?
I’m rehearsing for our Graduation Showcase with a scene from Anatomy of a Suicide by Alice Birch, my character’s name is Dan.

What skill (element of your performance) are you working on and hope to nail before graduation?
Staying present and alive in the space.
